I've just finished building a new pc, when i turn it on it comes up with the abit screen, intel logo in corner and it says 'press tab for post screen or del for setup' but my keyboard doesn't seem to work! Nothing happens when I press tab or del. I know the keyboard works. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance I'll be sooo gratefull!

Do you have another keyboard you can swap in to test? And you ould clear your bios, its normally a good start

thanks for the reply in the end I found another thread, and some guy suggested taking out one of the sticks of ram, which I did, and then it was all OK woo hoo! Does anyone know what the ideal voltage for geil ultra low latency (PC-6400 800MHz) ram is? I set it to 2.1v in BIOS, is that OK, it says on the website 1.9v to 2.3v is optimum.

Is this what causes this issue? my PS/2 port stopped working recently too so had to use the USB port which is no real issue but it would be nice to know!

My mobo is set to work the voltages automatically btw.
