Hi guys just about to start new build need some advice..
ok first thing first... I have monitor/keyboard/win7/mouse etc..
I want
be quiet case
1tb ssd drive
g1 980 ti NVidia card
16bg ddr4
I want to try to keep it under 2k and also you think 1tb ssd be enough storage?think I should buy another ssd small one just for OS and such? asnd keep the 1tb for all my media files anad games?

What is this PC for? Gaming or Video editing/rendering work?.

Personally i think a 1tb SSD isnt a good use of money. Especially if its just going be used for media files. It offers nothing over a mech drive for that use. I'm sure 500gb will handle all your games and OS, a 2tb mech for your media too.

If none of your College work is cpu intensive then you could save money and go with an i5 4690K.

Also what Monitor do you have ? As a GTX 980 ti is a very strong card and would be better suited to 1440p/4K. If you have a 60Hz 1080p screen then a GTX 970 would be a better choice.
