New build need stress test?

Totally agree
Simply test your new rig with whatever you will be using it for:
If it's a gaming rig simply knock out a few hours gaming and monitor temps
If it's for encoding video/video / audio production set up a couple of BR or DVD rips or fire off a new project in your NLE and leave them to encode / render and monitor temps
If it's for browsing etc just use for a few hours and monitor temps.

Only if you are overclocking do you really need to use P95 but P95 will probably be more than 5% harder on the CPU than any real world program ever will.
