why not save money and get an i5 750, mid range P55 mobo for <150 and 4 gig of reasonably priced RAM, for your needs youve massively over specced and seem to be spending money for the sake of it. 400 quid would get you just as good a set up for gaming

i5 is just as good for gaming, 4 gig of RAM is plenty for gaming and RAM has little effect on overall system performance unless youre doing specifically RAM intensive tasks such as editing large photo files etc, why that high end mobo? do you need the features? the one below prob does all you need

Edit: correction 335 quid would

Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) - OEM + Colin McRae Dirt 2 Full Game £139.99 (£121.73)
Asus P7P55D Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 Motherboard £114.99 (£99.99)
Geil Ultra Series 4GB (2x2GB) PC3-17000 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (GU34GB2133C9DC) - OEM £69.99 (£60.86)
Sub Total : £282.58
Shipping cost assumes delivery to UK Mainland with:
DPD Next Day Parcel
(This can be changed during checkout) Shipping : £9.00
VAT is being charged at 15% VAT : £43.74
Total : £335.32
