New Build, New Case?

Hi all,

Just starting plans for my new gaming rig but Im struggling on which case to go for. I had my eyes set on the Storm Sniper, but I dont know if I can really justify that kind of money on just the case.

Are there any alternatives which are on the lower end of the budget, say under £85, which will still house a rather large graphics card, and still have the same kind of airflow and cooling as the more expensive cases?

The Antec 300 comes out very well in tests, and is a popular favourite on these forums.

That was another one of my choices but Im not as keen on the looks as I am with others. Any idea how good the Xigamtek Utgard compares to the Antec?

Storm Sniper is a good case, and you don't see too many of them about on forums (well I don't anyway) so nice to have something a little different.

Without the need to mod that is. If 'd had a little it more of a budget for the case I would have probably gone with the Corsair 600T purely because of how sleek it is.

SouthEastBlue, try telling that to the Storm Sniper owners club

Although, I've noticed that the Scout owners club has double the amount of members as the Sniper

Why not just go for the Storm scout £80ish?

I wasnt sure whether the Scout would be big enough for future upgrades. By the end of this year Im hoping to be running SLi and watercooling, plus I like a lot of space without being cramped. I wasnt to keen on the looks of the Scout either to be honest.
