New build no case

Hey all, i need some help and i dunno what to do. I'm going to order parts for my first ever build tomorrow, but i have no case to put it in. I know what case i would like but no where has it in stock!

Should i hold off the parts till the case comes in or should i still buy the parts and then buy the case when it is in stock?

The case in question is the Silverstone FT02.

Tricky one, with the prices jumping around quite a lot atm it's difficult to know if things will be cheaper or not if you wait. Technically you could build the PC without a case to test if everything works but there's a small risk involved with doing that. As it's your first build I'd suggest waiting and getting everything at the same time.

yes mate i agree with the above....wait for the case.....as this is your first build you never know what might happen running without the case....

also as stated the prices are all over the place and you may save a few pounds waiting, but you may also lose a few pounds......

I'd hold off until its back in stock if you're sure that the Fortress 02 is THE case for you!


If you aren't totally decided, spend some more time looking at cases and comparing specs and then buy the whole PC (all components) together
