Hi guys, just built a new PC for my girlfriend, all seemed fine, but when you power the system on, all fans/hdd/drives spin up, but I get no display?

I have tried using both the on-board vga and an 8800gtx (known to be working from my comp) but I get the same results on both, I have also tried unplugging everything bar the essentials, same result.

Something else that's strange is that I get no system beep or hdd/power lights when I turn it on? All the cables are connected and I have tried turning them round but nothing?

All correct power cables are connected to the motherboard.

I have also tried using my monitor, same problem...?

Corsair CX 400W ATX Power Supply
MSI M3-F Intel G31 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Coolermaster Elite 335 Case
Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
Corsair XMS2 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 6400C4 TwinX Dual Channel

Any ideas? :S

Tricky,

yeah that^ then I think best way forward is to test what you can in another (your) comp, specificly ram and graphics card to rule them out, and re-seat the cpu maybe?

Ok, have tried running with both 1 stick and no sticks of ram, no difference.
Have also taken the motherboard out of the case to rule out any issues of any shorting with the case, no difference :(

Any time i've had this either a cable was loose, i was shorting on the case or something needed reseated or the connectors weren't clean, tried cleaning and reseating everything?

You were using an anti-static strap right?

Anti-static is for sissies :P

Hehe

Good news!

It is now working!

Took motherboard out, re-seated everything included the risers, back in, now working fine!

Thanks for the help! <3
