New Build, No Post, No Display!!!

*Update* - Still no luck with my system. Tried my RAM in my brothers machine today and it worked with no problems, so my RAM is in good condition.

Could anybody tell me if HyperX Fury Red Series 8GB 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM Memory is compatible with the GIGABYTE 970-Gaming Motherboard (Socket AM3+)?

Also is it possible that I should be able to access the BIOS without the CPU/RAM or GFX card installed? Because I tried this earlier and still had no display.

Should be able to post/BIOS with cpu+heatsink, ram and a display output (onboard or in your case gfx card).

Don't get any post or BIOS with CPU/heatsink/RAM and GFX card, my monitor gives no display what so ever and I have tried 2 monitors & a TV using both DVi/HDMI. My motherboard has no onboard gfx.

Haven't read further up but tried another memory? Or just tried one stick at a time?

If it's correct that CPU is not supported, then you might need another CPU to flash the bios then fit the faster CPU.

Not tried another stick of RAM as I don't have any laying around, only have 1 stick of RAM in the system and I have tried all 4 dimm slots.

I have a feeling its the BIOS that needs flashing, don't have a spare CPU to try, may have to take it to a local PC repair shop to get it done, if that's the problem that is.

You need to try a different cpu or gpu.

Otherwise you could look at your motherboard manual and see if it lists beeps or led post notifications.

Can you still get a p80p card?

Try gigabyte support, they have collected/flashed/returned boards before for other members FOC.

Or could even help diagnose the problem if you send them the main parts.

Tried another GPU didnt work, not got another CPU to try. I tried the manual for beeps but nothing in there I didnt already know.

Kind of need the system up and running this week tbh due to uni coursework and stuff so taking it too a PC repair shop would probably be the quickest and fastest solution. Thanks for the advice though.
