Right i started to put my new build together and im already annoyed with the fact that i have 3 unscrewable screws   Now to top it all off the computer doesnt even react when i pressed the power button

The PSU is a brand new Corsaair 520w PSU so that cant be the problem. I have just installed a brand E6600 and Gigabyte DS3P along with some Crucial ram but nothing happns :( Its now 3.30am and as you have gathered i have tried for the past few hours trying to get the damm thing to power up and getting those screws out.

I have checked all the cabling and all seems fine, the only small concern is the little connectors for the power and reset button on the Lian V7 Plus case. The connectors themselves dont actually have any postive or negative signs on them so im not sure whether im feeding positive to postive etc. All these connectors are coloured all different colours so no idea as to which one is which!

Would appreciated any help!!!

Right just tried it with all the colours! The light on the front of the machine comes on for a second before going off and nothing happens with the machine. Nothing is spinning :(

Update - I have noticed that the fans spin a tiny bit when the power button is pressed along with a small static noise. Any suggestions as to what this could be?

Spoken to a few people, some have suggested it could be a faulty motherboard......? The PSU on the fan and CPU spins for a 1/2 second before everything stops
