I've been building a computer this week out of parts I know that are definately working (apart from CPU and Motherboard) but PSU, GPU, Ram, Hdd, DVDRW, etc all work.
Plugged the finished build in tonight and it wouldn't boot. It wouldn't do anything. I reset the cmos and now it tries to boot but cuts out after a couple of seconds. Is it possible that the CPU isn't compatible with the mobo bios? The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 and the CPU is an i7 860.
Any advice would be great.
