New build old PSU

Hi there

I am just looking for some advice,

I'm currently in the process of upgrading to a AMD 5900X and either a 6800XT or 3080 depending on what I can get first. In my current build I have a Super Flower Leadex 850w that was bought in 2016. Would I be better off buying a new PSU or am I ok to still use the one I currently have?

Leadex serie PSUs are good and you can still keep using it for years.

I'm glad you mentioned this op. My bequiet 750w psu is a year old and I went overkill as the one before was whining. (my logic was that overkill = longer lasting). Well I'm glad I did now because it saved me spending £150 now on my new system I plan to get (5900x and 3070).
