This would be a base for a build. Just add the GPU you want bearing in mind the psu you own (so no 4090's)

Intel 13 gen

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,286.90 (Includes shipping: £0.00)

AMD ddr5 build.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,226.86 (includes delivery: £0.00)

Keep your case and psu. Your case may also limit your choise of GPU unless you remove all the HDD cages.
Move the HDD to the nvme drives.

What do you do with the PC?

If primarily gaming, I'd be tempted to just get the 6900 XT on offer for £650 and leave the rest.

A full AMD system:

Phanteks AMP 850W 80 Plus Gold Modular Power Supply - £129.95
WD Black SN770 2TB SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E Gen4 Solid State Drive (WDS200T3X0E) - £139.99
Lian Li Lancool 205 Midi-Tower Case - Black Window - £64.99
Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX 280 ARGB High Performance CPU Water Cooler - 280mm - £119.99

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X Eight Core 5.40GHz (Socket AM5) Processor - Retail - £419.99
Corsair Vengeance EXPO 32GB (2X16GB) DDR5 PC5-44800C36 5600MHz Dual Channel Kit - Black (CMK32GX5M2B5600Z36) - £169.99
Asus TUF Gaming B650-Plus (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard - £229.99

Grand Total: £1,288.09

A full Intel DDR4 system:

(same AIO, PSU, case and SSD as above)

Intel Core i5-13600K (Raptor Lake) Socket LGA1700 Processor - Retail - £339.95
Team Group Vulcan Z T-Force 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit - Grey - £99.95
MSI Pro Z690-A WIFI DDR4 - Intel Z690 DDR4 ATX Motherboard - £229.99

Grand Total: £1,138.01

With assumption of the rest of the budget on a 4090.

(If you're happy to cannibalise, then I'd try the PSU you have already before replacing it)

that kingston 6000c36 ram you can get for £215 away atm..save a little.. with that budget would look at new gen gpu...if not bothered about raytracing, think the 7900xtx be the card to get...nvidia will bleed you dry but can't deny the 4090 is a powerhouse..even the 4080 is good, except the price...some of those aib card near 4090fe price
