u got 2 diff lots 6gb ram there? should have saved £200 and got i7 920 and oc it imo
Apart from that that should be a nice build. i done a similar 1 myself last weekend.

Yeah i only got 1 lot, as of compatability problems. I was thinking of 920, but i am going to overclock the 940 anyways, the 940 seems to be a lot better also.

The parts incl vat come to like 2274 i think.

Yeah got the g.skull, what's it like by the way mate? As i can see you got some. PErsonal choice then mate, didn't want the best as it's amazingly over-priced so settled for the 940.

what's the 80gb drive for out of interest? surely won't make much difference to your capacity on top of two 500gb drives and it will be a lot slower too, or am i missing something???

Yeah i suspect you will get a performance hit doing that because the F1 drives will be much faster than the 80gb. You would probably be best off partitioning one of the 500gb drives for your OS 40gb for this would be ample, this would be the first partition on the outer part of the drive so would be the quickest. Then put your other programs games etc. on your 2nd 500gb in it's own partition (the 1st on that drive). Then any data that doesn't get used often can be put on the 2nd partition of either drive.

I personally see no need for that 80gb drive, it'll just slow things down if anything...

Thanks for the information benny, maybe i will do that. I am so excited about this though! Monday/Tuesday can't come quick enough!
