Hello. I have done a lot of research but this is my first build , I’m going to build it myself . It’s a gaming build , primarily civ and total war type games. Any advice on whether the build is appropriate and/or compatibility issues would be appreciated. Have used pc part picker , which is good but its not human. Thanks !

AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor
Asus - PRIME B450-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard
Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Samsung - 860 Evo 250 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Seagate - BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6 GB GT OCV1 Video Card
Corsair - Carbide Series 275R (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case
Cooler Master - MasterWatt 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

One thing I would say is that having just bought the mobo and cpu separately, I saw the same kit being offered as a bundle which would have saved me £30... Might be worth bearing in mind

tamzy and orbitalwalsh . you comments about cores and clock speeds are helful and appreciated . as with all replies like this , Ill have to go away and reconfigure , price is a concern and both your suggestions come a little above my budget...might wait and convince myself I can stretch to it ..thanks again

worth considering it is , Im going for the Asus ROG STRIX RX VEGA 56 8GB OC HBM2 Graphics Card with some reductions in price on other components . should come in at only (only?) £100 more . Did a little research , GPU worth the extra it seems. Thanks again ....

one more question tho , should I buy sata cables or any other peripherals that wont come with the case / mobo that I'll need ?
suppose you can tell I haven't got a clue from the question , oh well ..

Edited out the competitors.
