Well, i have finally decided to bite the bullet and build myself another pc. I haven't built one from scratch in over 10 years, though im not a stranger to performing some upgrades to my existing pc. As im a little out of touch with what hardware works best with what, can someone have a look at what im planning on getting to make sure i haven't stuffed up somewhere. I'm open to any suggestions on changes.
The pc will be used primarily for gaming and I need to run 2 27 inch monitors. Overclocking isnt really a consideration.
Specs are as follows:
Corsair 750D
ASUS Z97 Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core i7 4790K
Corsair Dominator Platinum CMD8GX3M2A1866C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
ASUS GeForce GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II 3GB
Corsair AX860i Platinum Power Supply.
I havent yet added HDD,SSD or CD Drives but i want to check that i have the core hardware correct. I have no budget in mind, ill pay whatever i need to get get a pc with some longevity. Am i missing anything important?
