Hey guys!

I am seeking a bit of help. I invested recently on some new hardware for my computer, find bellow exact details, however I have now come across an issue where once I start up my computer my system gradually slows down more and more until around 10 minutes in my pc just freezes.
Some sessions on my PC work flawlessly after several restarts of the computer.
My first suspicion would be my ram I have installed but I really have no clue where to start to solve this?
Do I need to tune anything in my BIOS when adding new hardware?

Motherboard: Maximus IX Hero
CPU: I7-7700k
RAM: Corsair Vengance LPX DDR4 8GB 3000MHZ
Graphics Card: GTX 1070
PSU: 600W

Thanks!

Hi, auzzuiehobo. Thanks for your quick reply. I'm just heading out at the moment so will be sure to check my event viewer when I return. I'm operating on windows 10.

What's the event logs show, could it be driver related, what OS?
What am I looking out for in my event log? I have a good few perflib errors but I'm really not sure what these are and if they are linked.

What make and model is that 600w psu? Have you checked cpu and gpu temps?
My PSU is just a simple fsp600-80epn. My CPU is averaging around 50 degrees and my GPU around 27.

Did you do a clean install of Windows when you upgraded ?
I haven't performed any clean install as of yet. I will give this a go just now.
