I've been researching various components for a build recently, and here's what I've come up with

Asrock Conroe945G-DVI (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard. £52.86
Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM. £110.44
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775). £16.44
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB5300DC). £152.74
BFG GeForce 7600 GT OC 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail. £111.61
OCZ ModStream 450w ATX2.2 Power Supply. £46.99

for a grand total of £536.85

I have a hard-drive I can stick into this system, but I'm still looking for a cheap case and I'm gonna need a new DVD-RW drive. This is still quite a rough concept, and all suggestions will be taken onboard. I don't have a specific budget, but I'm really looking for value for money on every component. I did consider the Gigabyte S3, as a motherboard but decided to opt for something cheaper, was this a wise decision, bearing in mind that I am going to be doing no overclocking. Thanks in advance guys.

Would I be right in saying that the main differences between the Asrock Conroe945G-DVI (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard and the Gigabyte GA_965P_S3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard, are:

Asrock doesn't support PC2-6400 RAM
Gigabyte has a large amount of overclocking potential
Asrock is a smaller board, with 1 less PCI slot
Gigabyte board costs £35.35 more

I'm still pretty stumped as to which one to get.
