new build pls help!!!

Hi

I am swapping my rampage 2 to an EVGA Classified and the system won't boot with my seasonic 900w PSU yet boots up fine with a Corsair 1000w. I know the seasonic is older tech but if it can power the rampage the surely it should be ok with the evga? Could it be an issue with power to CPU? Help!!!!

new motherboard?

have you done a clean windows install,
are all the power leads plugged in?
which EVGA classified is it? the SR2? doesn't it have extra power plugs on the board?

Have you plugged in both 8 pin 12V ATX power connections into the motherboard (at the top left next to the IO panel)?
