Weird one this, right im putting a rig together using my old parts for someone, now i put it all together, got windows installed etc... so its all up and running fine, but when i was hunting around for something, i found another SATA drive, so i decided to put that in as well, thinking ill just be able to go My Computer, see the drive, format it, and jobs a good'un, but its not showing up somehow.

Now ive added it to the 2nd Orange SATA port (windows drive is connected to the first one), and booted windows, and it finds the drive fine, just doesn't show up in My Computer so i can't do anything with it, but if i go to the Device Manager its there, and its also showing in the BIOS, so anyone know how i can get to use it lol.

Now ive never used more than 1x SATA before, so i could be doing something wrong, both are showing in BIOS as Masters, just the windows drive is IDE 0 Master, and the drive ive just fitted is IDE 1 Master.

Any ideas, thanks. :)

EDIT: I found it in Admin Tools, its got my new drive as drive 0, and the Windows drive as drive 1, when the wizard comes up it has Drive 0 ticked, but i didnt know which drive that was so cancelled it, and thats where i found out the new drive was 0, as it came up in bottom window, and says its not initalised, so if i don't cancel the wizard to make it Dynamic or whatever, will it not balls up the windows drive lol.

Sorted it now, set it up as a New Volume, selected simple (as rest where greyed out), then it asked about assigning a drive letter, so now its formatting, and its appeared in the top window under the windows drive as well now, so thanks again for the help. :)
