Ah, yeah. Wasn't thinking really. Thought It mightn't post if the SLi selector chip was in incorrectly.

stupid question but have you plugged the extra 12volt 4 pin plug into your motherboard your graphics may not be getting enough power,and what you say is happening could happen if you dont plug it in.

right i've managed to plug in one of those pci motherboard testers that comes up with a fault with the cmos, i've reset it a few times but nothing. im sure its the board now. im going to send the board back and get a refund and just get a dfi nf4 ultra-d and mod it to the sli version. what u think?
