New build problem... Is it the HD5870

To anyone out there

I have just recieved my RMA'd unit back (AMD Warlord) which has now been fitted into a HAF case with an HD5870 (Powercolor).

When I turn the machine on all it all seems fine but I don't get anything on screen. I have tried the 2 different connections and have opened up the case to see if the GPU came loose in transit but everything looks ok?

Aaaarggghh... I have been without my PC for a week and my laptop can't handle the FM10 demo I am going nuts!!

When you power on the PC does the motherboard have all the green lights glowing around the graphics card area?

If possible you could try and put the graphics card into the second slot on the motherboard as it may have been damaged in transit.

As above poseter says, mobo lights / leds, and also POST beeps?

Also, have you connected the 24 pin power supply and the 8 pin power supply to the motherboard.
