New Build Problem please help

Ive finally made use of my ATi Radeon X1950PRO after it sitting in my room for ages, i got a load of other part 2 gigs of ram an Intel Core 2 Duo an Asrock 4coredual sata2 motherboard and to avoid having to buy a harddrive as i had another pc i built with 2 drives i used them. 1 160gig and a very old 40gig seagate drive that has XP on it (i was being cheap and not wanted to get an oem copy of XP. It came from my Time Pc lol

Put it all together and worked fine had a problem with at first as the mouse would not work untill it found new hardware etc and started to install stuff from the driver disc for the motherboard. Then it wanted to restart so i did then it came up with this.

im thinking perhaps resetting the jumpers.....but ive never seen this before and wanted to know what anyone else thought.

looks like some sort of modded bios in place and its asking if you want to create a sata driver disk, only really needed if you plan to run raid.

have you checked the bios settings to ensure the drives are set to run as non raid ?

You've probably already fixed the problem, but just incase...

I'd guess that the driver installation CD is bootable. When you restarted the machine it booted from the CD rather than the HDD. Remove the CD from the drive and all should be well.

i had a feeling it was going to be something simple that would leave me feeling somewhat....retarded. Thanks a lot for your help guys that was it. Now i just need to clean up this very old harddrive.

Another thing, do you know how to bring back data from a harddrive, the 160gig drive i had in there i put into an external case to look threw it and nothing was there.......do you know of anyway of getting it all back ?
