Seagate hybrid 1tb
Seagate 2tb
Razer Megalodon
Nvidia 970 (galax)
PSU Corsair 760i
no overclocking all bios settings to auto default
Problem
System works fine when turned on, no issues all games run fine from assassins creed unity to kerbal, eve online to minecraft.
12+ hours use per day.
Each night when we shut it down (proper shut down no issues or crashes)

Each morning when I or she turns it on, it powers up for 5 seconds then goes into freeze nothing on screen no bios showing up and curiously holding in the power button for 10-30 seconds does not take it out of freeze and shut it down.
Pulling the power plug and plugging back in the system boots up (without you pressing the power button) and it boots up perfectly no bios error, no windows error and works fine for the entire day.

Third day in a row.

I am completely at a loss for this one.

Check internals are all plugged in 100% (power cables specifically). Try remove each component one step at a time (hard drives, dvd drives, gpus etc).

How old is the PSU? The PSU could be the issue. Bit of a long shot but Does your wife unplug the PC from the mains each night by any chance?

Does the PC restart Ok (once it's been up and running). What happens if you turn It off and leave it for say 20 mins?

Bios update would probably be my next suggestion. Would be hesitant to do a bios update if the PC is having issues when restarting after its "warmed up" though.
