New Build Problems

Hi,

I have just purchased an Abit IN9 32x-Max Motherboard, i have installed this with a Corsair HX620Watt PSU, Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 CPU, 2 x 1 GB Sticks of Corsair Dominator PC2-8500 CAS 5 Ram, and a Club x1650 Pro PCI-X GPU.

When i attach the power the post display on the mobo shows a 2 then C C and will not power up.

I have tried a Core 2 Duo E6400, a Corsair HX520Watt PSU and 1 x 1Gb Stick of Corsair XMS2 Ram. But it still shows the same C C post screen.

Whats is causing this as i cannot seem to be able to get this machine working.

If it reads CC, then either the ez-CMOS switch, or the regular CMOS jumper is in the wrong position.

Make sure you have plugged in all power cables.

Especially that 4-pin 12v ATX one, the amount of people who have had non-booting machines because they forgot this is silly.

artaxerxes you were spot on i forgot about that bloody ez-cmos i checked the rest and had everythin connected but that switch was set wrong by default.
