new build problems

Hey just built my first pc, installed Windows everything seemsed ok

I have a 5870 using hdmi but I can't get above 640 res doesn't detect monitor and the other problem is I cant cannot to the internet doesn't seem to find the ethernet.

Posting on phone sorry for bad layout etc

Have you installed drivers?

What is the monitor being used and system spec? - Might not be easy to do if your on the phone

Also have loaded the drivers from the motherboards disc?

Ok just using this thread all drivers installed and all good apart from my screen im using hdmi @ 1920x1080 but its really hard to read to screen when I drop the res it gets worse latest ATI drivers just installed any ideas?

Right click on the desktop and select "screen resolution" with the mouse. In the window that opens written in blue in the bottom half of the screen it has the option to increase txt size.

Medium (125%) should do you, hope it helps

Any resolution other than the native resolution will look fuzzy.

It's nothing to do with drivers.

Stick at 1920x1080 and just increase the size of text/icons to make them comfortable to read/see.
