Hi everyone,

So ive just started to get my new build in the case, ive got an ASUS B650E-E Gaming WiFi mobo, 64gb 6000mhz corsair VENGEANCE RGB, and a lian li 1000w edge gold PSU.

So ive managed to get everything in the case. Fans installed, and I/o headers on correctly. Now I know i haven't got the cpu in as of yet but I've read that its possible to boot the pc without a cpu to update the BIOS. my problem is that when I plug the psu in and flip the switch, the mobo RGB comes on and when I push the power button well nothing... I have tried shorting the pins and even tried a power switch from an older PC and still.nothing happens. I tried it without the RAM installed and with 1 CPU power connector plugged in but still nothing. I registered the board on Asus website and it told me that the warrenty for it has expired which for a board I brought 4 months ago is pretty poor, I have emailed them asking for support, but ive heard the horror stories about asus and warrenty issues so i decided to try a forum. Am I just missing something? The case is hyte y60 so the front i/o is a grouped block (but I dont see this being the issue. Any advise would be greatly appreciated! I do have my old build still thankfully but wanting to get the new buold sorted
