New build questions

Decided to have a go at putting my Christmas system together tonight. Specs below:

Gigabyte Z68 XP-UD3P motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3
i7 2600k @ 3.40Ghz

So I've put it all together and booted it up, just trying to install Windows now. I want to overclock it stabley but I have no idea which options to change in the bios, my first thought was to stick everything on max and watch it spontaneously combust but since its a lot of expensive kit I'd like to do it right first time, any hints/tips/ideas for the first boot?

Haven't really seen you post a sensible topic / reply anywhere in these forums yet but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and direct you towards the overclocking forum section http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=7 where you should get some good advice on overclocking your build.

Thanks but is there anything else I need to know about the first boot? Regardless of overclocking, e.g bios settings I should change like raid etc...
