Hi guys,

Wanted to ask your opinion on the build below. I'll use it daily for work so heavy us regular office applications and a decent amount of fps and rpg gaming. I'm getting the grip on overclocking so I'd like something to play around with and that allows me to do future upgrades and probably Water cooling sometime next year. I don't intend to buy it right away, but sometime in october. Budget around 1.5k

Build:
Acer XB270HA 27" G-Sync 144Hz Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor - Black/Red
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming Edition 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor
Asus Maximus VII Gene Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Beast 16GB (2x8GB) PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit
Corsair RM Series RM 850 '80+ Gold' 850W Power Supply (CP-9020056-UK)
BitFenix Pandora Micro-ATX Case - Silver Windowed
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache

I already own ssd and the peripherals.

My main q's are:

1.-Processor if I should upgrade to i7 or even wait for whatever is after devil's canyon (maybe it will be here soon)? Cooler recommendations?
2.-GPU. I guess 980 would be overkill if I'm not using md config or 4k?
3.-Monitor. Are those panels easy on the eye when using office apps? My eizo FS2333 gives us headaches and eyestrain...
4- Case: I like the pandora for it's looks and size I'm limited to a space of W26cm H52cm D47cm.
5- RAM. 16gb not 8 as I'm using some virtual machines for work. Or is it still Okill?

Thank's for your time.
