New Build RAM - Help please!

Hi there,

Havent build a PC from scratch since about 2005! Ive got a 5900X and a MSI x570 tomahawk to go with a RTX3080 once i can get one (going to use my GTX1080 for the time being). Struggling with RAM..... ive been tempted to go with this:

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...4000mhz-quad-channel-kit-black-my-096-tg.html

Reasons for picking this is that most things i have seen say 4000MHz is the sweet spot for the new Ryzen processors but i want 32GB and this seemed to offer a good balance of price and performance. However, everything in the product page only talks about Intel and when i found the RAM on the T-Force website the link to the compatibility list seems to be broken. I dont see any reason it wouldn't work but as ive been out of the game for so long not sure if ive missed something?

Or, do people have any suggestions on other RAM to get? I would rather not have RGB (dont want to spend money on lights, especially considering the PC will live in the living room behind a corner sofa so no one will ever see it!) and to be honest this whole RGB thing doesnt interest me. Also, pretty keen to have 32GB and if 4000MHz is the sweet spot id like to stay there without breaking the bank. I could go slightly more expensive than this stuff but not a lot more, 30 quid tops probably.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to you both. After reading your posts i went and had a look at where i had got it in my head that 4000 Mhz was the sweet spot for these new processors and see it was actually a second hand report of a leaked slide...... not exactly the best source to base a buying decision on!

Another thing i should prob mention is i wont be overclocking these and i want to rely on the XMP settings (i believe its called something else on AMD platforms but essentially the same thing). Also, im building this now while im furloughed from work so wont be waiting for the sale so the £199 price is not going to work for me! With these things in mind do the sticks you suggested still represent a good buy?

Thanks again guys - appreciate your help :)
