New build - replace prebuilt !

I don't know how well WoW plays at that resolution on an 8800GTS so you might need to look in the Games sub-forum for more advice or maybe someone else knows.

Other than that I'd go with the 520w HX instead as it will be more than sufficient.

You can keep your existing E6600 unless there is any problem with it.

The Pioneer appears to be way overpriced for what it does so I'd suggest an NEC AD7170 instead.

I'd probably get bigger hard drives internally anyway, even if you want to store most of the data externally (not totally sure why) something like a Western Digital AAKS drive or one of the Seagate 7200.10 series will be faster. :)

Not sure if you are going to overclock or not, but if you are the Ballistix 2x1GB PC-5300 would come highly recommended, also a tad bit cheaper if you would by them this week.

I see you have opted for the Hitachi HDD's, personally never used them, more of a Western Digital user.. would have taken a 160GB for OS and a 320GB [or maybe even 500GB depending on how much applications/games you will have!] for applications/games. Also, if you download a lot, some extra space is always good to have before you are able to transfer it to an external drive! ;)

The CPU is is overkill if you only going to have a GTS card, 2 HDD's and a Optical drive.. go for the Corsiar HX 520W. it will be plenty enough! And £30 cheaper!

Otherwise everything seems ok, I am sure you can use the E6600 from your existing system and the motherboard will support the new Penryn Processors when they come out later on so keep that one!

Cheers
Tom

Edit: Beaten by Semi-Pro!

world of warcraft runs fine on 7300gt 1680x1050 so i guess you wouldnt need an 8 series, i would go for something like a x1950.

You are probably as well to buy a tube of Arctic Silver 5 to replace the thermal paste/pad that is on your existing heatsink because it isn't good to remove the heatsink and then use the same thermal material again.

I'd just pick the NEC AD7170 as I said, in general most of the drives are much of a muchness so just pick a SATA model at a decent price.

620w is fine if you really want it but not strictly necessary, the 520w will almost certainly cope fine with any new CPU or graphics card you throw at it but for £30 the peace of mind may be worth it.

I personally don't think Raptors are worth the extra money but if you want the absolute fastest SATA drives you can currently get then they are it - provided you get the newer 16mb cache models. :)
