Hi guys , just finished my first build
Coolermaster HAF 922 Case with Window - Black
Corsair HX 650W ATX Modular SLI
Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD5 Intel
Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3
Corsair H50-1 High-Performance CPU Watercooler
XFX ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB TV-Out/HDTV/HDMI
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
Pioneer BDC-2O2 BD-ROM
All went very smoothly thanks to all the excellent advice on here . I did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit which seemed to take an age , but installed ok in the end.
It does seem slow to boot though , much slower than my dell laptop also running Windows 7 64 bit.
All the drivers have installed ok , ive tried turning off all the startup programmes , updated to the latest bios , turned off the floppy drive .
Has anyone got any ideas what else I can try please . I went into the event viewer and there are a lot of warnings , some critical, they all seem to be about either slow boot or shutdown times .
