Built my new computer about a week ago and ive noticed a problem with my sound, in any installed software which uses sound, games and programs the sound stutters all the time, like a click click sound every 0.5 sec, its fine on music and films just everything else, its the same on both onboard sound and my creative xifi gamer card, also disabled ATI sound and can't seem to fix the problem, someone mentioned something to do with HD sata port but not tried that yet. anyone know a possible fix or heard something like this before?

my spec is in the sig, thanks.

poor you you went with creative, well renoun for stutter. Before you think i'm having ago about your choice, that's what ive got.

With the driver's you should get the 15's drivers. That's the version number they have done newer one's but these I had better luck with.

Things you should also make sure is that you have the latest chipset drivers for your MOBO, this can cause an amazing amount of issuse don't expect yours to be installed with a standard install.

Presuming you disabled onboard MOBO sound.

i have the xfi support pack 2.0 by daniel k, someone told me to download that but it didn't help, i'll try installing the latast chipset drivers.
