Hi

The Alpenfohn Matterhorn Black is a good cpu cooler. You don't need to spend £65.99 on the BeQuiet.

The White Leadex is a bit cheaper.

Zotac card has a 5 year warranty after you register it.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro has a full psu cover so you won't see the White psu.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,069.57
(includes shipping: £14.70)

Thanks for the advice.

So is the 390 a better choice than the 970?
I thought that the 970 would be a better card given it's higher clock speed, faster memory speed and lower power consumption?
I've been told the driver support is far superior with Nvidia too?

You cant compare clock speed from nvidia vs amd, they are different architectures so do stuff differently per per clock cycle.

The 970 is less power hungry, the 390 has much more Vram, generally a 390 is a touch faster than a 970 overall.

As for drivers..amd have redone the catalyst driver and its now called crimson and offers a nicer user interface, they are still releasing drivers with fixes etc regularly/monthly.

So it seems the 390 is the way to go then! Thanks.
Would I need to look at revising the PSU choice if going for the 390?
If so what can you recommend? I'm not too fussed on looks as the case I have gone for has a hidden PSU compartment.
