Hiya

I'm looking at building a new pc. Now the last time i built one was in 2008 and i'm a little out of touch with the new processors, chipsets etc and was looking for some advice.

It's going to be a mid-range gamer build.

I'd like it to be Intel, and i was thinking of an i5 but don't really now the differences between them.

I'd like the motherboard to be a Gigabyte - what's the difference between the P55 and H55?

As for memory, i have no preference, just nice stable memory.

I have the case and the hard disks sorted. The case will be a Fractal Design R3 and the hdd will be Intel X25-M SSD with a TB data drive.

As for the graphics, i was thinking a 5770 - are they any good?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

The new Intel sandy bridge comes out on the 9th, wait till then so you can get the latest tech, also is there a budget?

A GTX460 will waste a 5770 for around £15 more.
