I'm going to build a PC on a tight budget for creating music in Cubase using Midi/VST plug-ins. The Dell laptop I have doesn't have enough processing power. I am mainly interested in CPU power. Don't have major RAM or Disk requirements, won't be using any large files (except for the actual software) and don't intend on using this PC for anything else.
I would really appreciate some opinions on this build, obviously I want the best for the least. I'm quite new to this. Am I missing anything obvious here? I fully expect to be! Is there a cheaper way to make this?
Ps. Already have OS. Will be Vista Business Pack.
