So i have started a new build after much uming and arring on what to get and how much to spend. so far I have the following:
CoolerMaster Hyper 612S CPU Cooler, received today and it looks epic, compared to my old stock CPU its massive.
I have a Grade B 7970 Windforce 3x 3072MB being delivered tomorrow which I cannot wait for.
I have a 120 SSD vertex 2 for the OS (Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit) and 2x 320GB hdds for games & general use.
A generic DVD drive
All media Music and Films will be in a NAS drive, still yet to decide which one to get so any tips would be much appreciated. spec needs:
raid 1 (2x2 tb hdds) Itunes server and access from any network.
Im going to get a i5 3570k seems all you need for gaming, BF3, Borderlands2 (Amazing fun) and FarCry 3 once its out. Mobo will be the Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) and TeamGroup Elite 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz
I have a 600w OCZ PSU will I need a more powerful one for the current spec?
I all so need a new case as my current is too small for the new CPU cooler and GPU, I can spend around £80 on a case. I don't mid if the case is a Grade B/ 2nd hand. Any cases that would be hold the components with room for upgrades and extras when required?
Any tips on spec I should go for would be awesome!
