Looking to start a new build very soon this is the cpu i want

Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail

I have a budget of 1k to 1.5k, I already have monitor and OS that is win 7 retail.

So i want Motherboard, ram, PSU, case, video card which i only want to spend 150 pound on that, and a SSD for boot.
Does this cpu come with heatsink and fan if so i will stick with the stock cooler.
I think thats it, but looks like may not need to spend that much on the new build but its a budget so if comes under the amount all well and good.
I may install acouple of 3TB slaves aswell, I want a good quality motherboard to add some more hardware on later.
Any thoughts plzz feel free.

What are your uses for this build?..

I just want to understand why that chip and low level graphics card inparticular...

I also don't see the point in getting a K series chip and not overclocking it.. If you not going to overclock a non-K chip would be better.

If you have NO intention of overclocking it, get the 4770/4771, and save some cash.
even stock with no over-clocking I'd say get a nicer cooler, as haswell runs hot.

also why not go for one of the 7950s on offer at the moment?
there are a few for around 170 and its not exactly a low end card.

ok it won't be clocked so i will go with the
Intel Core i7-4771 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail
and a 7950 ati would be ok.
And as for the stock cooler would it still be fine when you say the Haswell run hot?

Stock cooler will work fine at stock speed. but it will be loud under load and the cpu will run hot(stock), i nice £20/£30 cooler would make it nice cool and quiet.

What will the system be used for as in 99% of takes the i5 run the same as i7

oh i forgot i want 16gb ram, that motherboard won't take nvidia if in future i wanted a nvidia card instead, i like to keep my options open.

Either get 2 sets of the RAM above or this: (the price is similar)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Patriot Viper "Black Mamba" Generation 3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-17000C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (PV316G213C1K) £129.95
Total : £138.65 (includes shipping : £7.25).

That board will take an Nvidia GPU, it just won't take 2 in SLI which i very much doubt you'd need anyway.
