New build. Suggestions please :-)

Putting together a new build. I already have a Superflower 1000W, an R290X Vapour and some TeamGroup Xtreem LV "Frost Edition" mem.

How does this basket look? I have gone for the ASROCK for price/performance and it has done very well in the reviews. Not an overclocker so I do not need many of the features other boards come with. Not a Gigabyte fan either so it was either this or an Asus model. The cooler I have chosen as I am not a huge fan of All in one W'Coolers and with the slim fans should give me memory clearance. The case I just like the look of I know its not the best cooling case money can buy but it's quiet, nice looking and has all the features I need. I was wondering though if the Superflower with its extra length will fit ok?

Im not the best to advise on the mobo, but i do love that case. Looks real smart, nice choice.

As you are not an overclocker, would a non K cpu and mobo be better for you then?

Do you really need a cooler/K CPU/pricey motherboard if your not going to overclock, you could save a lot going for cheaper parts.

Thanks for the comments. I don't mind spending a little extra on the chip and the cooler. I game at 2560x1600 so although the GPU does most of the work it still helps having a decent cpu, just my opinion. The fact that the 4970k runs at 4.4 with no overclocking is what really appeals to me. I do have a H105 here but I'm not a huge fan and apparently it can be a tight squeeze on the H440. I have used the Megahalem before and it's one of the best air coolers and not to fat, once again just my opinion :-)

I should have mentioned in my first post I do a lot of gaming and at 2560x1600 wherever possible

How is your Single 290x holding up?

H440 is fine with a H105, it can even handle push/pull.

I have no problems with a single card. At that res I normally have AA off where I can but leave everything else on. Cheers for the vid :-)
