Looking to build a system to replace my core 2 duo E8400 with 4870 512mb rig

So far Antec 300-2 case
Dont have a Budget as the hardware is not released yet

Going to base it on an Intel Skylake sitting on a Z170 mobo

So heres the thing if i get a nvidia 970 now will it make any difference to my current system

also going to go SSD for the system drive , should I grab that now while I wait for the new intel CPU to be released?

The SSD is a good solid upgrade and will make your computer feel faster.

If you were to buy the GTX970 now you'd also see a marked improvement however your CPU would stop it from reaching its full potential.

The 970 will make a big difference and the SSD will make a solid upgrade now too.
