Hey all, looking to upgrade my PC after 5 or so years. My current pc has an fx6300 and a GTX 960, and I was looking to sell it, using any money from that to fund this new build. I use it for mostly gaming, sometimes mid level CAD/CFD.
So I've been looking about and googling, and so far I've come up with this:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 AM4 Processor (£155)
SSD: Sandisk SSD Plus 480GB SATA 3 (£66)
GPU: MSI AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB ARMOR (£234)
Mobo: MSI X470 GAMING PLUS AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard (£120)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4 2400MHz (£120)
PSU: EVGA 450 B3 450W Modular 80+ Bronze PSU (£49)
Case: Fractal Define C Tempered Glass (£85)
Total: £828.93
I was also looking into upgrading to GPU to a GTX 960 (£250) or a GTX 1070Ti (£390) instead, but tbh I don't know if it's worth it. I'm wondering what you all think of this build, and those GPU alternatives?
