New build, thoughts and comments

Would love to know any suggestions on this build, using it for mainly gaming, Counterstrike source .. battlefield etc... looking for max fps

I left out the grafix card.... i cant decide what to get, im leaning towards 5870 or gtx 470... or shud i be looking at something cheaper but in crossfire / sli mode? have around 250 pound to spend..

I also left out psu because i have a Corsair HX 620W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-620HXUK) from a while ago that should be ok???

Is there anything else i should be looking at?

The PSU will be absolutely fine, however you have selected triple channel RAM but AMD memory controllers are only Dual Channel, so you just have to find a nice set of dual channel RAM

6gb triple channel memory is no good for that, needs to be dual kit,

as for motherboard, thats a good one and does proper crossfire at 8X/8X, so is ideal for ATI graphic cards.

if you went Nvidia, then you can drop the crossfire support, as dual nvidia cards aint possible with a AMD chipset motherboard.

As peeps have already said, sort out some dual channel memory, also personal prefereance for me would be to get the 5870, not only is it the more powerful card IMO and more capable, you also (as already mentioned) have the option to add another in crossfire later should it not have enough grunt.

it seems the motherboard i have picked is now out of stock... anyone any as good/better suggestions...

im also leaning towards the 5850 because it seems they can be overclocked to nearly a 5870 anyway.. anythoughts?
