After some hassle today finding out my IceQ Boost is too large for my case, and with my friend buying my old GPU anyway, we've arranged to sell my PC to him and I'll buy fresh kit instead.

So I've already got the HIS 7950 IceQ Boost GPU and an SSD. I've got the following lined up:

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM

Asus P8Z77-V LX2 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Thermalright HR-02 Macho CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1155/LGA1366)

Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9)

Corsair Carbide 200R Compact ATX Case - Black - with FREE Corsair Dual Pack AF120 Performance Fans

Any recommendations on a (preferably modular) PSU that's future-proof with the possibility of SLI/Xfire in the future? Is there a better system board at a similar price? Better cooler?

I'd like to keep the price down a bit if possible so can't go spending wildly, but I'd rather get decent kit than a cheap PSU or system board which isn't as reliable.

Any thoughts on my build?

Cheers

£80 is always worth it for a good, reasonably high power PSU. The XFX's a steal (out of stock though)

The stock issue could be a problem, unless it comes into stock by the end of the week. Might have to send a webnote but there's no ETA listed on the product page so doesn't look hopeful that it'll be available anytime soon.

Right, just about to pull the trigger on this:

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM

Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CML8GX3M2A1600C9)

Corsair Carbide 200R Compact ATX Case - Black - with FREE Corsair Dual Pack AF120 Performance Fans

XFX Pro Series 850W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler (Socket LGA2011/1366/1155/1156/775/ AMD AM3/AM3+/AM2/AM2+/FM1)

This will all work fine together?

Yep all good :)
Bit overdone on the PSU, would rather purchase a 550W Seasonic for the warranty and design.

Cheers. PSU is with future-proofing and possible SLI/Crossfire somewhere down the line I guess.

Edit: Ordered. Thanks for all the help from everyone here, appreciated :)
