Hay all.

What do you guys/gals think of this ?

The things i am not sure about really are
Motherboard
Ram
PSU

My max budget is 430 pounds :) ( maybe a little more if needed lol)

No need for monitor/case/keyboard & mouse or OS.

Thanks for any help :D

which case you using?
maybe get an aftermarket cooler for the CPU so you can give it a decent overclock. slower clockspeeds seem pointless when you're getting an ok graphics card.

Hi.

The case i am using atm is a AeroCool CoolView

It's pretty good at cooling my 2180 @ 3 ghz and 4850

I forgot about the aftermarket cpu cooler mite get another Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro depending what cash i got left :)

Id go for some slightly faster RAM, can get 8500 which is 1066MHz compared to the 800MHz the stuff you chose will run at. Can get it for not much more money and should provide a slight increase. Or could go for 4GB, only be about £20 more for something like this and thats probably the max amount you will need now or for the near future

Thanks for the advice guys :D

erm i hear the gigabyte ip43 boards are better than asus and slightly cheaper.

You sure on this one? I thought Asus were one of the best for 775 boards? I got a Gigabyte one in a bit of a rush and constantly see better reviews for Asus boards lol, kinda made me regret it a bit, but still cant complain, my board does everything I need and does it well :)

As for other PSU's, I have the Coolermaster Real Power 520 and got to say I think its great!! Having it modular means less cables filling up the case, plus the actual thing runs very quiet, better than I expected it to be by far! A great upgrade

Thanks guys

I updated list with the Coolermaster Real Power 520w :)

Oh forgot to ask the OcUK Value GeForce GTX 260 "Core 216 will it look like what it how shows on picture with the same cooler ?

Cheers

The EVGA GeForce GTX 260 thats a 192 cores and OcUK Value GeForce GTX

Is there much difference from 192 - 216 fps wise ?

Thanks
