Evening all,

I was planning this later in the year, but bit early due to the 9070xt deal.
Looking at passing on my current comp to my eldest, so time for me to treat myself. First build for around 6yrs, but have upgraded along the way

Purchase Timeframe: asap

Budget: £1,000 max (I'm Scottish so cheaper the better)

Usage: Mainly gaming, 1440p and hooking up to VR headset

Preferences: No real allegiance to any brand

Current Hardware: CPU - 3700x
MB - Asus X470 Prime Pro
GPU - 3060ti
PSU - Antec 650w
RAM - 16gb 3200

Peripherals: Probably need a KB and Mouse and would look at 1080p monitors for him

Special Needs/Requirements (inc Wi-Fi): I have a wired connection in the room, so not neccessary, but handy

I've put this together so far:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £871.88 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Thanks

There's been a fair few complaints about these being noisy, including on the forum here.

Reluctantly, I'd have to suggest you go B850 and get PCIE 5.0. It is starting to matter if you don't buy a high-end card, especially if the VRAM is on the lower side.
