New build way out of the loop

So im way out the current loop im running an i5 devils canyon which just quite isnt cutting it no more am at 100% cpu usage with a game and browser on second monitor (Im only running at 1080p dual monitor but want to move to 1440p single or ultrawide eventually

Current gear is

970 G1 Gaming edition
i5 4690k
Gigabyte mx5 matx board
2400mhz 8GB DDR3 Ram
512gb ssd (keeping this)
64gb ssd (keeping this)
2tb sshd (keeping this)
Case im keeping is a Phanteks mAtx tempered glass
CM600 Semi modular psu (Could change this as it can be re-used elsewere)


So im looking to buy in the next month or two a new board, cpu, ram and possibly psu.
The gpu can wait for another time as its not the current bottleneck (I don't think? correct me if im wrong)

Budget is unknown but as little as possible to last for another 4 years really like this setup has.

Whats my options?

I expect you can shave off some cost on the motherboard, so maybe something a little lower spec like this (updated basket):
