New Build problem (Intel Bad Axe 2 & ATI X1900XT)high pitched noise from g.card pcb

Just built up my new ststem with

Intel Bad AXe 2
Core 2 Duo 6600
2GB OCZ PC2 6400
Silverstone PSU 650W (old psu from before)
ATI X1900XT (old card from before)
Creative XFI(From old system)

System is watercooled and I've added a dd waterblock to my ati.Done my build installed win xp ran 3d mark 01 and as soon as I did I get a high pitched noise when its doing the 3d stuff as soon as it goes to the between screen it stops same on the couple of games i installed ?

Tried a fair few things its hard to tell if the noise is comming from the graphics card or the mainboard to be honest.Shame I haven't got another PCI-E card to swap test it.

Any ideas?
Anyone Else had this ?

Thanks !

Is the noise coming from the vid card? My old 6800le would make a loud piercing noise if the additional power connector wasn't plugged in so maybe under 3D the vid cards not getting enough power.

Like I say its hard to tell if the noise is comming from the mainboard or video card...the power is connected using a dedicated PCI-e power connector to the PSU...
The same card and PSU were used before and it didn't happen on my A8n32 ....with the fact my friend said it happend to him I thought it might of been a comon issue ?
Thanks for any ideas tried a few ...will try using a different power connector to the vid card tommorrow. :o

Well I've found that the sound is comming from the graphics card ....real strange .As I've said my friend had the same issue on his asus 975x board and even when he changed the card to a nvida it made no diffrence...so I guess it wouldn't for me ?As the card made no sound a couple of weeks age in my AMD asus board A8n32.
Someone else must have had a similar problem ?????...anyone ? :(

Yeah I've tried plugging into the molex connector there no different. I've even tried using a molex to pci-e power connector on another pcs psu and it still does it.I've also tried Installing Vista and its still there ....even with the default drivers built into vista.

I think in summary on certain Intel boards when running 3d apps with both makes of cards some of the batches of mainboards cause a static noise from the VGA Card..
