New Build with 1080 TI Asus Strix, which monitor

I'm sitting here deliberating on which way to go monitor wise.

Completely new build with the main gubbings being:

1080 TI Asus Strix
Asus Strix Z270E Mobo

and the finger on the trigger for an i7 7700K coupled with either

an ASUS ROG Swift 34" Ultrawide PG348Q monitor or a 4K monitor such as Acer Predator XB321HK 32"

I've never had an ultrawide before and really fancy it, but having the 1080 TI seems a shame to miss out on 4K

What do you guys advise?

Yes already got the Mobo, so looks like i've dropped the ball on that one. Either way will still be a beefy machine for a couple of years.
