new build with some existing components

hi, my friend gifted me some items yesterday and i am wondering what to do with them:

- cooler master 690 II advanced mid-tower case
- cooler master V8 cooling solution (heatsink)
- cooler master silent pro M (500w)

what additional components do you recommend that gives the best bang for buck? what would you build?

Grats on that parts some decent stuff there, Firstly what else do you have OS, mouse keyboard and so on, and secondly any idea how much you intend to spend.

i would probably put it next to my shuttle SP35P2 - sharing a razor mouse, saitek eclipse keyboard and dual dell 24" lcd monitors. would need a KVM switch that supports 2 monitors though, any suggestions?

on the OS side i would probably dual-boot arch linux and win 7 ultimate.

i have not set budget but i like value for money so probably not the latest & greatest. but probably would invest in a good mobo so i can max upgrade it in the future as prices come down.

first time in a long time to have such a big case (i am a long-time shuttle fan) so i'd be interested in recommended stable overclocks too.
