New build woes

Hi, i have just finished my build and i got 3 problems i can't figure out (its been awhile) the mobo is a z87 sabertooth.
1 i used 3 pin fans attached to the mobo headers and can't lower the speed in the bios .....do i need 4 pin fans?
2 installed and using my ssd fine but my 2tb hd is showing up in the bios and computer/properties but not as a usable drive.....what am i missing?
3 when i download ai suite3 it looks nothing like whats on youtube and can't do jack through it.

Majority boards don't always control the fan headers, I always go for a FSC.

Pop into disk management and format the drive, this will assign a drive letter and allow you to use the drive.

Last one not sure.
