New Build Wont Boot.

Hi, just put together a new build and having no luck at all with it,

- i5
- Asus Maximus III Formula MB
- 4 GB Geil Ultra Series
- Sapphire 5850

It was posting and got halfway through installing windows, now it seems to be doing nothing at all. With the Antec 1200, there seems to be no case speaker to plug into the MB for the startup beeps if something is wrong, i dont know what i should do about this. Also i just wana check that the 5850 requires 2 6 pin power supply leads. Apart from this im completely stumped, but im not very experienced so i hope someone here can help.
 
Ah, i just found that near to the cpu, the 2nd motherboard power connection there was only 4 pin showing so i put a 4 pin connecter, but there is another 4 pins covered by a piece of plastic, should i remove this piece and put an 8 pin power lead in here?

Most boards will boot with either type connected up, just make sure that the 4 pin ones are in the correct hole's!

Check the GEIL website for the correct timings and voltage. The last memory I had from them was seriously picky about the voltages / timings set. Although it didn't cause the board not to boot it did stop it from playing games correctly.
 
Any beeps if you remove the graphics card / memory (or both)?

Tried resetting the BIOS? Made sure that the CPU cooler fan connector is in properly?
